Sestu is a comune, or municipality, located in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari within the Italian region of Sardinia. The town is situated approximately 10 kilometres (6 miles) north of the city of Cagliari.
As of 2025, Sestu has a population of 20,747 inhabitants. It serves as a residential and administrative area within the metropolitan region of southern Sardinia.
