Scano di Montiferro is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Oristano within the Italian region of Sardinia. It is located approximately 120 kilometres northwest of Cagliari and about 35 kilometres north of the city of Oristano.
The town serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding area. Its geographic position places it in the central-western portion of the island's eastern coastline region.
