San Sperate is a town and comune situated in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of the regional capital, Cagliari.
The municipality has a population of 8,625 inhabitants. As a local administrative division, it serves as a residential and civic hub within the surrounding metropolitan area.
