San Gavino Monreale is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Medio Campidano within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. The town is situated approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of the city of Cagliari and lies roughly halfway between Cagliari and the town of Oristano.
The municipality has a population of 7,823 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within its province in the southern portion of the island.
