Samassi is a town and comune located in the Province of Medio Campidano within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Sanluri.
The municipality has a population of 4,674 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within the interior region of the island.
