Portoscuso is a town and comune located in the Province of Sulcis Iglesiente within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 75 kilometres west of Cagliari and about 14 kilometres northwest of Carbonia.
The municipality has a population of 4,689 inhabitants. The primary languages spoken by the local residents are Italian and Sardinian Campidanese.
