Ortueri is a town and comune situated in the Province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is located approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Nuoro and about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Cagliari.
The municipality has a population of 961 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within the inland region of the island.
