Oliena is a town and comune located in the Province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 120 kilometres north of Cagliari and about 10 kilometres northeast of the city of Nuoro.
The municipality has a population of 6,405 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center in the northeastern portion of the province.
