Muravera is a comune located in the Italian region of Sardinia. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and lies approximately 45 kilometres (28 miles) northeast of the city of Cagliari.
The municipality is positioned in the Sarrabus area, a coastal region known for its geographical features on the island's eastern side.
