Maracalagonis is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Sardinia. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, positioned approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of the city of Cagliari.
The municipality has a population of 7,883 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative division within the southern portion of the island.
