Gonnostramatza, also known as Gonnos-Tramatza in the Sardinian language, is a comune located in the Province of Oristano within the Italian region of Sardinia. It is situated in the Marmilla area, positioned approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Cagliari and about 40 kilometres southeast of Oristano.
As a municipality in southern Sardinia, it serves as a local administrative center within its geographic district. The town's identity is rooted in its regional placement between the major urban centers of the island's interior and coast.
