Gavoi is a town and comune located in the province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated in the natural region of Barbagia, approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Nuoro.
The municipality has a population of 2,404 inhabitants. It serves as a residential community within the inland mountainous landscape characteristic of the Barbagia region.
