Fonni is a town and comune located in the province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. The municipality is situated approximately 100 kilometres north of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres southwest of Nuoro.
The town has a population of 3,552 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center in the mountainous interior of the Sardinian island.
