Decimoputzu is a comune, or municipality, located in the Italian region of Sardinia. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and has a population of approximately 4,000 inhabitants.
The town is positioned about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of the city of Cagliari. It serves as a residential and administrative locality within the metropolitan area of southern Sardinia.
