Bolotana is a town and comune located in the Province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) north of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Nuoro.
The municipality has a population of 2,244 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within the Sardinian interior.
