Baressa is a village and comune (municipality) located in the Province of Oristano within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. The municipality is situated approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Oristano.
The village has a population of 528 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within the Sardinian interior, characterized by its position between the regional hubs of Oristano and the capital city of Cagliari.
