Atzara is a town and comune located in the Province of Nuoro within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres north of Cagliari and about 45 kilometres southwest of Nuoro.
The municipality has a population of 974 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within the Sardinian interior.
