Assemini is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. Situated in the plain formed by the Cixerri, Flumini Mannu, and Sa Nuxedda rivers, the municipality lies approximately 12 kilometres northwest of the city of Cagliari.
The town has a population of 25,575 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within its metropolitan district.
