Veglie is a town and comune located in the province of Lecce within the Apulia region of south-east Italy. It is situated approximately 20 kilometres west of the city of Lecce and 12 kilometres east of the Gulf of Taranto.
The municipality is bordered by the comuni of Campi Salentina, Carmiano, Leverano, Nardò, Novoli, and Salice Salentino.
