Statte is a town and comune located in the province of Taranto within the Apulia region of southeastern Italy. It serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding territory.
Historically, the town was part of the territory belonging to the comune of Taranto until May 1, 1993, at which point it became an independent municipality.
