San Severo is a comune located in the province of Foggia within the Apulia region of Southern Italy. It has a population of approximately 51,919 inhabitants.
The city rises on the foot of the spur of Gargano and shares borders with several neighboring municipalities. To the north, it adjoins Apricena; to the east, it borders Rignano Garganico and San Marco in Lamis; to the south, it is adjacent to Foggia and Lucera; and to the west, it meets Torremaggiore and San Paolo di Civitate.
