San Pietro Vernotico is a town and comune located in the province of Brindisi within the Apulia region on the south-east coast of Italy.
The area served as the site of a substantial Messapian community around 500 BC. Today, the primary economic activities of the municipality include tourism and the cultivation of olives and grapes.
