Orta Nova is a town and comune located in the Apulia region of southern Italy. It is situated approximately 25.4 kilometres (15.8 mi) from the city of Foggia.
The municipality extends into the southern portion of the Tavoliere plain, specifically positioned on the right bank of the river Carapelle.
