Miggiano is an Italian city located in the province of Lecce within the Apulia region. Situated in the lower Salento area, it is positioned just a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast. The city is located approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) from its chief town and 22 kilometres (14 mi) from Santa Maria di Leuca.
The municipality has a population of 3,702 inhabitants. While it was formerly classified as a town, Miggiano was officially elevated to the status of city in 2003.
