Martina Franca, also referred to as Martina, is a town and municipality located in the province of Taranto within the Apulia region of Italy. It serves as the second most populated municipality in the province, following Taranto, with a recorded population of 49,086 as of 2016.
The town is notable for hosting the Festival della Valle d'Itria, an annual summer opera festival that has been held in the location since 1975.
