Conversano is an ancient town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Bari within the Apulia region of south-eastern Italy. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres southeast of Bari and lies about 7 kilometres from the Adriatic coast at an elevation of 219 metres above sea level.
