Cerignola is a town and comune located in the province of Foggia within the Apulia region of Italy. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres southeast of the city of Foggia.
The municipality is notable for its significant size, possessing the third-largest land area of any municipality in Italy at 593.93 square kilometres. Among municipalities that are not provincial capitals, Cerignola holds the largest land area in the country. The town has a population of 56,711 inhabitants.
