Carmiano is a town and comune situated in the province of Lecce within the Apulia region of south-east Italy. It is located in the heart of the Salento peninsula, positioned between the Ionian and Adriatic Seas.
The town is geographically situated approximately 20 kilometres east of the Ionian Sea and 16 kilometres west of the Adriatic Sea.
