Vogogna is a comune located in the Province of Verbano Cusio Ossola in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Situated at the heart of the Val d’Ossola, the municipality lies approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Verbania.
The municipality covers an area of 15.28 square kilometres and is centered on the town of Vogogna. Its geography is characterized by significant elevation changes ranging from 211 to 2,018 metres above sea level, with portions of its territory falling within the Val Grande National Park. The area also includes several outlying settlements known as frazioni, including Prata, Dresio, and Genestredo.
