Vinadio is a comune situated in the Province of Cuneo within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. The municipality is positioned approximately 100 kilometres southwest of Turin and about 30 kilometres southwest of Cuneo, located near the border with France.
The town is situated along the Stura di Demonte river. It serves as a local administrative center within its province, characterized by its geographic location in the alpine region bordering the French frontier.
