Vernante is a comune located in the Province of Cuneo within the Piedmont region of Italy. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres south of Turin and about 15 kilometres south of Cuneo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality had a population of 1,307 residents. The total area of Vernante covers 62.0 square kilometres.
