Valdieri is a comune located in the Province of Cuneo within the Piedmont region of Italy. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Cuneo and about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Turin, positioned near the border with France.
The municipality is part of the Valle Gesso geographical area. It serves as a local administrative center within these mountainous surroundings in the northwestern portion of the country.
