Traversella is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Piedmont. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Turin, positioned approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) to the north of the city of Turin.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its metropolitan district. It is characterized by its geographical location in the northern portion of the Piedmont region.
