Tortona is a comune located in the Piemonte region of Italy, within the Province of Alessandria. The city is situated on the right bank of the Scrivia river, positioned between the plain of Marengo and the foothills of the Ligurian Apennines.
The municipality includes the frazione of Vho, which has been designated as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia" (the most beautiful villages in Italy).
