Tonco is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Asti within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres east of Turin and about 13 kilometres north of the city of Asti.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 11.8 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 895 residents.
