Sommariva Perno is a comune located in the Province of Cuneo within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated in the Roero area, approximately 40 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres northeast of Cuneo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 17.4 square kilometres and had a population of 2,800 residents.
