San Martino Canavese is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is part of the Metropolitan City of Turin and is located approximately 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of the city of Turin.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its geographic area. Its location provides it with proximity to the regional capital while maintaining its distinct identity as a municipality in the Canavese district.
