Salassa is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Turin and lies approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of the city of Turin.
The town is positioned in the Canavese traditional region. It serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding area within the Piedmontese landscape.
