Sala Monferrato is a comune located in the Province of Alessandria within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres east of Turin and about 30 kilometres northwest of Alessandria.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 7.7 square kilometres and had a population of 446 residents.
