Portula is a comune located in the Province of Biella within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 14 kilometres northeast of the city of Biella.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 11.1 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 1,505 residents.
