Pont Canavese is a comune located in the Piedmont region of Italy, within the Metropolitan City of Turin. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the city of Turin.
The municipality occupies a small fluvial plain positioned between the rivers Orco and Soana. The name Pont Canavese originates from the historical series of bridges constructed in the area to cross these two rivers.
