Omegna is a comune located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It sits within the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, positioned approximately 100 kilometers northeast of Turin and about 13 kilometers southwest of Verbania.
The municipality is situated at the northernmost point of Lago d’Orta. It is geographically characterized by being traversed by the Nigoglia, which serves as the lake's only outflow.
