Masserano is a comune located in the Province of Biella within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres northeast of the city of Biella.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 27.1 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 2,315 residents.
