Locana is a comune located in the Piedmont region of Italy. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Turin, specifically positioned in the Orco Valley approximately 45 kilometres northwest of the city of Turin.
The municipality has experienced significant demographic changes over the last century. While the town had a population of about 7,000 residents in the early 1900s, the population declined to 1,500 as of 2019.
