Gignese is a comune, or municipality, located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated within the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, positioned approximately 110 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 8 kilometres south of Verbania.
As of December 31, 2022, the municipality covers an area of 14.9 square kilometres and has a population of 1,065 residents.
