Giaveno is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Turin, positioned approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) to the west of the city of Turin.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its province. As part of the Piedmont region, it is situated in one of Italy's primary geographical and cultural areas.
