Gattinara is a comune located in the Province of Vercelli within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 35 kilometres north of the city of Vercelli.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 33.5 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 8,506 residents.
