Galliate is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Novara within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated in a geographic position approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast of Turin and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Milan.
The town is positioned roughly 7 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of Novara. It serves as a local administrative center within the Piedmontese territory.
