Gabiano is a rural comune located in the northwest region of the province of Alessandria in Italy. It is situated approximately 25 kilometres west of Casale Monferrato.
The geography of the area straddles the lowland immediately south of the Po river and the furthest extension of the Monferrato hills. The current population of the municipality is approximately 1,250 residents, a figure that has decreased by half since the mid-1930s.
