Fontanile is a comune located in the Province of Asti within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 25 kilometres southeast of the city of Asti.
As of December 31, 2023, the municipality covers an area of 8.0 square kilometres and has a population of 470 residents.
